Art of Puppetry

Puppetry is a very ancient form of theatre that may have originated as long ago as 3000 years BC. The first known use of puppetry came in Ancient Greece, sometime around the 5th century BC. Some historians believe puppets pre-date actors in a theatrical sense. Puppetry takes many forms, but they all share the process of animating inanimate performing objects to tell a story.
